FJBLGB Racing Wins 3rd Team Championship

Thanks to Brian & Lizzy finishing 1,2 and scored the most points of anyone all season they easily wrapped up the team championship way before the end of the season. This is the 3rd Team title but the 1st time a team member has won the actual championship as well. They will now add Jim to their team in 2026 making them a full 3 member team. They have a total of 30 race wins since we started teams in 2022.

Brian Caruthers Is 4 Time Champion After Winning 2025 NPRS Championship

Championship Song-"Second Chance"-Shinedown

From start to finish this year was dominated by Brian but he had to face off with his teammate in the head to head battle for the Championship in the last ever Championship to be decided by a single race (Changes coming in 2026). The Championship did not come easy as they were back and fourth all day and before an overtime finish Lizzy had the Championship in hand but the final laps sealed the deal for Brian to win his 4th Championship and 2nd of the playoff era. His last Championship came in 2017. Just about every stat category was led by Brian this year and the Championship is well deserved. Brian ends the season with 7 race wins, 7 stage wins, a regular season title, 13 Top 3's, and 25 Top 5 finishes. FJBLGB Racing won the team Championship as well many weeks ago. With the chance to make changes to their team they decided to steal Jim from Hit The Pace Car Motorsports for 2026 which will eliminate that team all together and bring them back to a 3 member team in 2026. Congrats to Brian on his 4th Title which also came 1 day after his birthday.

Lizzy Caruthers Finishes Runner Up After Her 1st Championship Race

Lizzy did not end up winning the Championship battle against her teammate and father in law Brian but she scored her best season finish ever and continued to impress with her strength through 4 seasons. She has never finished worse than 4th in the final season standings and that streak continues. She impressed in the playoffs with 3 wins out of the final 10 and she can hang her head high despite not winning the title. Lizzy ends the season with 5 race wins, 7 stage wins, 12 Top 3's and 20 Top 5 finishes. Congrats to Lizzy on her highest finish position ever and now the only spot higher next year would be to win it all.

Jim Shoemaker Maintains 3rd After Intense Battle With Josh

Winnings $65

Jim entered the final race with a 6 point gap over Josh to try and maintain his 3rd place position and score the last money payout position. Josh brought the fight and won the race but was only able to gain 6 points. That brought it to a tie for 3rd place and with them both having 5 wins on the year the tie was broken by most 2nd place finishes and Jim had 4 to Josh's 2. Jim definitely felt the pain after beating both Brian & Lizzy at Phoenix knowing if he had advanced to the title race he would have won it all but Jim has to be happy about his 2025 finish of 3rd place. This is his best season finish since his Championship in 2020. Since then he had finished 5th, 7th, 9th and 9th overall. Jim finished the season with 5 race wins, 9 stage wins, 13 Top 3's and 20 Top 5 finishes. After missing the playoffs in 2024 this season was definitely what the doctor ordered and now Jim will be refreshed for 2026 with his new team.

Josh Wins Phoenix To Cap Off 2025 Season

Josh was out of the Championship battle after Martinsville but Josh did what he does best at Phoenix and won another race. This was the 1st time since 2021 that Josh was not in the Championship Race but he can't be upset making the final 4 again and finishing 4th overall. With his win at Phoenix he almost pulled out 3rd overall but ended the season in the best way possible to gain momentum for the new year in February. Josh ended the season with 5 race wins, 8 stage wins, 10 Top 3's, and 20 Top 5 finishes. Josh's average finish may have gone down but he still has the best average finish ever at 2.24 and hasn't finished outside the Top 5 since 2013. You could call this an off year for Josh even though most would be content with a season like this. It's very easy to say Josh will be back in 2026 as a title contender once again.

Josh's win at Phoenix helped MAGA Motorsports secure 2nd place overall in the team standings this year.

Defending Champ Finishes 5th Overall

The defending Champion definitely had an off year but still managed to finish in the Top 5 after the season wrapped up. Patrick just couldn't get any momentum going this year and with only one victory it was hard to compete in the playoffs. He fell out after Round 1 with lack of playoff points. Patrick ended the year with 1 race win, 4 stage wins, 9 Top 3's and 18 Top 5 finishes. Patrick has finished in the Top 5 now for 3 straight years and he bypassed 600 races this season. Patrick will look to get back to Championship form in 2026 with his teammates who finished 4th, 5th, 6th this season.

Justin Comes Up 1 Pt Short Of 5th

Winnings $15

Justin was aiming for finishing Top 5 over his teammate Patrick who entered Phoenix 6 points ahead of him. Justin was able to gain 5 points on him but wasn't quite enough. Justin had glimpses of strength this season but in the end it fizzled out and he was eliminated after Round 2 failing to make the final 4. Justin has now finished 6th place overall in 3 consecutive seasons. Can he break out next year and move into the Top 5? Justin has the longest streak of not winning a title at 17 years next season. Justin ended the season with 3 race wins, a series high 12 stage wins, 14 Top 3's and 18 Top 5 finishes. Justin will look to best his teammates next year who both finished just above him in 2025.

Ups and Downs For Sean in 2025

Winnings $15

Sean finished 7th place overall this year which is his best season finish since 2021. His last 2 seasons in the series were 10th place overall. This season had a lot of ups and downs as Sean pulled off wins early but then would lose the playoff eligibility after missing multiple races. If Sean had participated in all races he would have had a shot at a Top 5 finish. Sean ended the season with 2 race wins, 6 stage wins, 12 Top 3's and 17 Top 5 finishes. Part Time Garage team members were the only ones to miss races this season. If Sean can show up for all 36 races he may have a shot at a 2nd title in the future.

Sophomore Slump Ends With 8th For Maigan

Maigan had a breakout rookie season in 2024 and this season reality hit her hard and she struggled to continue what she had going the 1st year. There were some signs of strength at times during the season but also a lot of bad luck that brought her to an 8th place overall finish. Maigan is ready to go for a refreshed season in 2026 and a clean slate. She ended 2025 with 2 race wins, 6 stage wins, 8 Top 3's and 16 Top 5 finishes. Her average finish definitely decreased after her 2nd year but she still sets above Jim & Tyson and tied with Sean all time. Maigan has 72 races under her belt now and ready to get back to winning ways next season.

After Falling Out Of Playoffs Tyson Finishes 9th Overall

Tyson had a rough season in points across the entire season but he made the playoffs and made it all the way to the 2nd round. With his lack of points during the entire season he would finish 9th overall after falling out of the playoffs. Tyson has made the playoffs and performed some in the playoffs but he has yet to put together an entire season and if you can't keep momentum up all year you will not be able to compete for a title. Tyson ended the year with 4 race wins, 11 stage wins, 7 Top 3's and 12 Top 5 finishes. If Tyson can develop some consistency he could be a factor in 2026. Tyson was able to stay out of last place by beating Craig at Phoenix.

Craig Finishes Last Place In Return Year

Winnings $10

Craig had been gone since 2019 until returning in 2025 and the years of being away definitely showed. He was able to score wins but could not get much momentum going. He scored a series high 8 last place finishes and although he made the playoffs he fell out in Round 1. There was some confusion late in the year where he thought he was completely eliminated late in the year after falling out of the playoffs and he missed an important race that could have kept him from falling to last place. Craig finished the season with 2 race wins, 3 stage wins, 10 Top 3's and 14 Top 5 finishes. If Craig returns in 2025 he should be more prepared with the new era of NPRS.

21 Seasons In The Book

The 2025 season was the 21st season of NPRS and we have now completed 748 races.
A lot has changed over the years but the same thing applies. NPRS brings excitement to watching races beyond rooting for your favorite driver.
The competition is the best it has ever been and you never know who is going to win.
Changes incoming for 2026. NASCAR will probably implement a new playoff format which we will likely adapt in some way for NPRS after the announcement.

Salary Cap Style Picks to kick off the season at Bowman Gray in 2026.
Possible new entrants for 2026 could expand our series.
