25th Career Win
2nd New Hampshire Win
There is no more win and in but Jim brought that term back by winning New Hampshire which was enough to help him clinch a spot in the CHASE. Without a victory he probably would have had to wait until Daytona to clinch a spot. Justin dominated the race until Byron lost a wheel and Jim was there ready to slide in to victory lane. This is Jim's 3rd win of the year and also his 3rd win in the last 10 races. Heading into the CHASE it might take a performance like that or more to win a Championship this year. We have had an amazing regular season and the Top 3 are only separated by 9 points heading into the regular season finale. It took Jim a while to get going this year but once he did he hasn't looked back and now he has a shot at the #1 seed at Daytona if he can out-duel Brady & Brian.
Justin may be disappointed after leading the race all day to lose it in the closing laps but he had a great points day at a very crucial point of the year. Justin moved from tied with the bubble spot to 11 ahead heading into Daytona where anything can happen. While he is not safe, his chances of making the CHASE are much greater now. Justin and his 2 teammates Josh & Patrick are all currently in the CHASE but Justin & Josh are still in danger of falling out.
Brady scored his 11th podium finish of the year at New Hampshire which is the series high. As we approach Daytona on Saturday night Brady will hit 65 days in the points lead this season. That is tied with Brian for the most days leading the points this year. Brian also led for 65 days during the regular season. Now the question is who will lead the points into the 10 race CHASE? Brady has an 8 point lead on Brian and a 9 point lead over Jim. Will Brady go in as the #1 seed in his rookie year or will defending Champion Brian take back over? Could Jim who hasn't led a single day this year take over when the final 10 races begin?
Tyson is mathematically eliminated from making the CHASE this year. That doesn't mean his season is over. He still has 11 races he could win and $55 on the line over the course of those 11 races.
Maigan is below the cut line for the first time since Talladega in April. She has picked a bad time of the year to hit a slump with 7th place and 10th place finishes the last 2 weeks. The good news is she is only 1 point behind Josh for the final CHASE spot. Can Maigan jump back in right at the finish line of the regular season?
Brady, Brian, Jim, Lizzy, Sean & Patrick have all clinched spots in the CHASE. Justin is +11 and Josh is +1. Maigan is -1 and Stephanie is -3. This is one of the closest battles we have had for a final spot in years.
We all know Maigan has a great track record at drafting tracks but she has yet to win a race at Daytona. Could this be her time? Lizzy won Daytona earlier this year and Brian swept Daytona races in 2025.
MAGA Motorsports won the team battle for the 2nd week in a row. Can they keep this momentum and keep all 3 team members in the CHASE?
Clinch Scenarios For Justin
Justin could clinch a spot with a finish of 5th or better
Justin could clinch with 6 stage points
Justin could clinch with 5 stage points and a finish of 10th or better
Justin could clinch with 4 stage points and a finish of 9th or better
Justin could clinch with 3 stage points and a finish of 8th or better
Justin could clinch with 2 stage points and a finish of 7th or better
Justin could clinch with 1 stage point and a finish of 6th or better
104th Career Win
Patrick had fallen out of the CHASE after Indy 2 weeks ago and he needed a strong run or a win and he did just that Saturday night at Richmond thanks to picking Logano for the win and scoring the win bonus. This is Patrick's 3rd win of the season joining Brady, Brian, & Sean has the only ones with more than 2 wins this year. Patrick's Richmond victory helps him jump back into the CHASE with 2 races to go. He is still not safe but he is in a much better situation than he was. He will enter New Hampshire 15 points above the cut line as the 2024 Champion looks to get into the CHASE. It will all come down to who wins the next 2 races but Patrick may be racing hard against his teammates for the chance to make the CHASE.
The last 2 weeks Jim had finishes of 9th and 10th. He needed a turnaround to stop the free fall and he contended for the win right up until the closing moments of the race. He ended up 7 points short of a victory but scored a much needed runner up finish. Jim will head into New Hampshire 19 points above the cut line. Jim had a huge points day moving from 46 behind the leader to 33 thanks to his 2 stage wins. His stage wins helped him make some moves in the Hall Of Fame lists. Jim took 7th place on the all time stage wins list from Tyson and moved to within 1 stage win of Sean for 6th. He also passed Daniel for 7th place in the next gen stage wins list. Jim has 6 stage wins so far in 2026, with Brady being the only one with more at 7.
Justin has been hovering around the bubble for a long time now and nothing has changed after Richmond. Justin was tied with Stephanie entering the race for the final spot winning the tiebreaker over her but now after the race he is in the same exact spot tied with Josh this time for the final spot also holding the tiebreaker over Josh. Justin needs a win to feel safe with 2 races to go. Justin has 6 career wins at New Hampshire but he hasn't won there since 2017. Justin would love to pad his cushion before we head to Daytona in a couple weeks.
MAGA Motorsports wins the team battle with 2 of the top 3 finishers this week.
Maigan scores a rough 10th place finish, slowly falling towards the bubble. Can she right the ship before it's too late.
Tyson misses his 1st race of the season. Currently 47 points below the cut line, Tyson needs to win out to have a shot at the CHASE.
No one has clinched a spot yet but there are at least 4 that could clinch at New Hampshire. The magic number is to be 35 above the cut line after the race next week. Currently 1st-3rd are above that number and 4th place would need to gain 1 point on the line.
There are only 2 races left until we have our final 8 fighting for the Championship. Who will score the next win and who will have less stress heading to Daytona in 2 weeks to settle it all.
Patrick, Josh & Justin all have 6 career wins at New Hampshire, more than anyone else. Will one of these teammates claim their 7th and take control of this track?
51st Career Win
1st Iowa Win
Sean is having a resurgence of a year in NPRS. Not only has he not missed a single race, he scored his 4th win of the season Sunday in Iowa and ties Brian for most of the series this year. In the last 3 years Sean has competed in NPRS he has only scored 2 wins each season. His last real competitive season was in 2021 where he had 6 wins and finished 2nd overall. Sean was hanging tough in the Top 5 in points and this win at Iowa moved him right back in the Top 4 and in the conversation for the #1 seed. He heads into Richmond Saturday night only 23 points out of the points lead and he definitely has momentum on his side with the short track win at Iowa. This win was his 15th short track win which ties Scott for 6th all time. Sean has his eyes set on Lizzy for the 3rd place position under the lights in Virginia, at a track he has 2 career wins at. We have 3 races left in the regular season and any of the Top 4 right now could come out on top as the #1 seed and get that very important 25 point lead to start the CHASE!
Lizzy has been doing all good things this season but lacks a little in the win category compared to her top competitors. She is not lacking on coming very close with her now 4th runner up finish of the year. She also dominated the majority of the day in Iowa, scoring both stage wins which matched the amount she had up until this point all year. Those 6 points she scored for stage wins were very important as she climbed from 30 points back to only 17 back of the lead with 3 races left. The regular season leader and #1 seed is probably going to come down to who can win a race in the next 3 weeks and the pressure is high.
2 weeks ago in Indy Josh ended his losing streak and put himself in the CHASE conversation and this week he helped himself some more with a great podium finish and grew his gap to the cut line by a another point. Every point matters and not losing ground is very important at this crucial point of the year. Right now Josh has his teammates and Stephanie to worry about from behind but he also has a shot at challenging Maigan & Jim for 5th or 6th place before the regular season comes to a halt.
Moore Odds Racing wins the team battle for the 4th straight week, moving Stephanie's team up to 3rd in the team standings.
With 3 races left, no one has yet to clinch a spot in the CHASE. This may change next week as the magic number is being 70 points above the cut line. Right now Brady is 62 up and Brian is 55 up.
Full Circle-Maigan & Patrick become the 1st ones to score at least one finish in every position this year. Brian & Josh have still not finished last place any this year. Brian has also failed to score a runner up finish all year. Sean is the wild one who hasn't finished 4th, 5th, 6th or 9th all season long.
Rookie Of The Year could end in the next 3 races. It's a pretty sure bet that Brady will be in the CHASE. This means Stephanie has to make the CHASE to have any shot at winning rookie of the year. If she fails to make it Brady will become rookie of the year.
Josh has won the last 3 Richmond fall races, going for 4 in a row. He has become the new king of Richmond over the last few years, now holding 11 wins at the Virginia track.
The intensity is growing and we are heading to a Saturday short track race under the lights in Richmond, who will push forward with another win with 3 races until the CHASE?

164th Career Win
16th Crown Jewel Win (Series Record)
Josh has always been the one to chase year after year. You know if you're keeping up with Josh you are doing great but 2026 has not been his year...yet. Josh won the season finale last year and had yet to win through 21 races this year. But all that changed today in Indy as he snaps his losing streak, scores his 4th Brickyard 400 win tying Brian for the most all time, and moves back into the CHASE with 4 races left until it all begins. Could this be the turning point of Josh's season and what else can he do in the next 4 races to possibly set up another Championship run? Besides 2013 when he finished 6th overall, Josh has never finished outside the Top 5 in points. He would have to make the CHASE to keep that streak alive. Josh is currently 8 points to the good as we head into the off week and then race into Iowa next. Chances are Josh and his teammates are going to be fighting each other to see who gets in the CHASE this season.
For the 5th time this season Maigan finished 2nd. This time she was runner up to Josh but the consistency is paying off. She has caught Sean for 5th overall. They are currently tied. When we get to Iowa in 2 weeks she will be looking to take 5th from Sean and make a run at Jim for 4th. We still have 4 races left but Maigan is looking to be a CHASE contender this year if she keeps scoring 2nd place finishes. She has now tied Brady with 10 Top 3 finishes this season which is the series best.
Stephanie and Brady tied at the line at Indy and with them having the same 5 drivers in the same order this was the 1st time we have ever had to use the dark horse finish position as a tiebreaker and that went Stephanie's way as Bowman finished ahead of Nemecheck. Stephanie needs every point she can get right now as she is right in the thick of the bubble battle. With Josh's win Stephanie stays below the cut line but is only 2 points out. It's time to go to battle with Josh, Justin & Patrick for those CHASE positions. Stephanie carried her team to a 3rd straight team battle win. Moore Odds Racing is still last in the standings but catching the other teams.
Josh's win was the 50th for his team all time
Maigan scored her 5th stage win of the year while Lizzy scored her 2nd.
Sean scores his 5th last place finish of the year and is slowly falling down the standings. Could Sean be in danger of missing the CHASE with his current downward momentum?
Patrick falls below the cut line and needs to catch either of his teammates to get back above the line.
This will be our 3rd trip to Iowa. Brian & Lizzy are the past winners at the new track.
4 Races Left Until the CHASE. No one has clinched a spot and the pressure is increasing to see which 8 make the CHASE in the 2026 season.
3rd Career Victory
The rookies amazing season continues at North Wilkesboro as Brady battles down to the wire to beat Jim by a single point in a photo finish. Jim was hoping for a victory on his birthday but Brady spoiled the party with his 3rd win of the season. This win is the 2nd inaugural event that Brady has won this year, he also won San Diego. 2 of Brady's 3 victories have come on short tracks. With the victory and some stage points, Brady is able to recapture the points lead once again from Brian and the battle is on again for the regular season title with 5 races to go. Will Brian strike back or will Brady look to pull ahead as we head to Indy for the Brickyard 400. Brady holds a 5 point lead over Brian heading into this crown jewel event.
Note-This was Brady's 3rd win in the next gen era. Craig only had 2 wins in the next gen era so Brady passes his dad in 1 stat category.
Jim was fighting for a win on his birthday but came up 1 point short. On the positive side Jim scored his 3rd runner up finish of the year and his 4th stage win of the season. With the strong run and points scored Jim was able to move up past Sean for 4th in the standings. Jim has practically gone from the bottom to the top in a matter of months. Jim is now only 9 points away from 3rd place Lizzy. Every position is worth a ton of points when the CHASE begins and Jim is slowly increasing his chances of contending for his 2nd Championship this season.
The other rookie is gaining some momentum the last couple of weeks. Stephanie finished 3rd at North Wilkesboro and scored her series high 7th stage win of the year. She is still on the outside looking in but she chopped the gap down from 8 to 3 points as we head to Indy next week. There are 5 races left until the CHASE field is set and Stephanie has sights set on Justin & Patrick above the cut line. Can Stephanie make it 2 rookies in the CHASE this season?
Josh's slump continues and the losing streak grows to 21 races. Josh didn't have a bad day at North Wilkesboro but the ones he needs to gain on all finished ahead of him. Josh may need his teammates to slip up in order to make the CHASE field in 2026.
Next week is a crown jewel event at Indy. Brian leads the way with 4 Brickyard 400 wins but Josh & Patrick both have 3 each.
Back to back team battle wins for Moore Odds Racing. Team Standings
Brady's victory was the 10th win all time for Part Time Garage.
Tyson suffered his 1st last place finish of the season. That means only Josh & Brian have yet to score a last place finish this season.
Sean is on quite a slump, not cracking the Top 5 in the last 6 races.
Jim scored his 38th Career Stage Win to tie Tyson for 7th place on the all-time list.
6th-10th in the standings are separated by less than a race. That is 3 spots in and 2 spots out
There are only 5 races left until the CHASE and no one has secured a spot yet. Everyone is still in danger and wins could change the entire picture when the dust settles.
109th Career Win
It took exactly one year for Justin to break his losing streak. The race this week started on July 12th but it ended on July 13th. Justin's last win came on July 13th, 2025 at Sonoma and last night he broke the streak in the early morning hours in Atlanta. Justin didn't have the win bonus but he had all the right drivers and won by 14 points over Maigan to score his 3rd straight Top 2 finish and win his 1st race of the 2026 campaign. This win along with his two runner ups the last 2 weeks has moved Justin above the CHASE cut off line for the 1st time since the 9th race of the season at Kansas. This is the type of run that can bring Justin back into the hunt this season but he is far from safe. He is on the bubble spot and only 8 points ahead of Stephanie for the final position with 6 races left until we lock the CHASE grid. 35 races drought is over, can Justin carry this momentum forward to North Wilkesboro?
Maigan scores her fourth 2nd place finish of the year, more than anyone this season. While it hurts to come so close and miss out on a win, Maigan has consistency on her side right now and gained 10 points on the leader this week. Maigan has tied Brady with the most Top 3 finishes this year with 9. Can she score her 10th podium next week at North Wilkesboro? She holds 6th place right now in the standings, 20 points above the cut line. She has 6 races left to hold on and make the CHASE and she is only 6 points behind Jim right now for 5th place. Moving up in the standings even by a single point could be huge when the CHASE begins.
The last 3 weeks has been rough for Stephanie and Atlanta was just what the doctor ordered. Stephanie scored a stage win and a 3rd place finish after finishing 9th or worse the last 3 races. While she did fall out of the CHASE grid with Justin's victory she is still within reach and it's going to come down to the wire. A win for anyone around the cut line right now will make a huge difference. She is currently 8 points out with her sights set on Justin. She gained 7 points on Josh who is the closest behind her this week.
We are heading to North Wilkesboro for the 1st points race in the history of NPRS. Who will be able to win this inaugural event? Josh is the king of short tracks and his next short track win will be his 50th. Josh needs a win more than anyone else right now as he is the only winless this year. Josh's losing streak is currently at 20 races.
Brian and Lizzy lost 23 points post race when Bubba Wallace was penalized for going under the double yellow line. That took Brian from a 4th place finish to 9th and took Lizzy from a 9th place to an 11th. This is the 1st last place finish of the year for Lizzy. Brian, Tyson & Josh are the only 3 yet to finish in last place this year.
Stephanie carried her team Moore Odds Racing to the team win in Atlanta. We currently have a 3 way tie for 2nd place in the team standings. Team Standings
Congrats to Tyson on 200 Races. Unfortunately not a very good week as Tyson falls to last place in the standings. Can he rally in the coming weeks and make a fight for the CHASE?
Brian still in total control but his lead shrunk from 26 to 22 over Brady after Atlanta.
There are 6 races left and no one is even close to clinching a spot in the CHASE yet. The points are on the line, the pressure is growing and the battle for the Top 3 spots will determine who has the best chances to win the NPRS title in 2026.
24th Career Win
The last time we raced at Chicagoland, Jim was not in NPRS yet along with many others who participate today. Jim took no time getting his 1st win at the mile and half track in Chicago in his 1st attempt. In the final laps the win came down to Jim or Maigan depending on the race winner but Justin was the one who actually finished closest to Jim, 13 points back when the dust settled. A few weeks ago we were talking about Jim being winless 15 races into the season and now we are talking about Jim being a multi time winner in 2026 as he continues to make his way up the standings. Remember the 1st half of the year, Jim was last place in the standings but now as we head to Atlanta Jim is 5th place overall and becoming a true contender for a run at that 2nd title.
Next Gen Wins List-Jim has now has tied Brian for 2nd place in total wins in the next gen era with 19. They both trail Josh who has 25.
The heartbreak continues for Justin as he scores another runner up finish, his 3rd of the year. Justin had the race in control for a while but the last stage didn't go his way and Bell moving back up front put the nail in the coffin on his chance at breaking the losing streak. The losing streak is now at 35 races as we head to Atlanta where Justin has 3 wins all time but he has not won since they reconfigured the track back in 2022. Justin still needs a win but he is inching his way towards the CHASE cut line week by week. He is now only 10 points outside of the CHASE with 7 races left. Can Justin break the streak before it hits an entire year?
Maigan continues to contend with Brady for them most podium finishes this year as she scores her 8th of the year, 1 behind Brady with 9. Maigan is hanging strong in 6th in the points and more importantly she has increased her gap to the cut line the last few weeks. She is 20 points above the cut line, actually currently tied with Patrick but holding the tiebreaker right now with more 2nd place finishes as they both have 2 wins. Heading to Echopark Speedway for the 2nd time this year, a track Maigan won earlier this year. Maigan is known for an amazing record on drafting tracks and will be looking for her 3rd win of the year.
Brady suffers his 3rd missed race of the year. While Brady is still having a good year and a pretty safe bet to make the CHASE, the question will be what if? Brady could easily be leading the points into the CHASE if it wasn't for so many missed races.
FJBLGB Racing wins the team battle for the 2nd straight week. They are in absolute control of the team standings this year. They have a 17 point lead right now and the most you can lose in a single race is 4 pts which means they have more than a 4 race lead.
Tyson will be making his 200th Career start Sunday at Echopark Speedway. Congrats to Tyson on this accomplishment. Tyson currently 6 points outside of the CHASE.
The battle for the CHASE. Stephanie currently holds the final CHASE spot by a single point over her husband Josh. Could we have a husband and wife battle building up for the final spot?
7 races left until the CHASE, time is running out. Who will make the CHASE and who will be top contenders? Every spot matters and even though 8 people make the CHASE, the Top 3 or 4 will be hard to catch when the CHASE begins.
Brian has once again broken the season record for the largest points lead, currently 26 points above 2nd place.
123rd Career Win
Brian is back on top about 1 month after losing his points lead. Today his series high 4th win of the season came on the last road course race of the season as him and Justin, father and son battled it out in the last stage. It was all down to the single driver they had different and it fell to Brian in the closing laps to give him a 3 point victory over Justin. This win moves Brian into the largest points lead of the year with a 19 point lead over Brady. Everyone is about to start chanting ABB again as we get closer to the CHASE and others look to gain ground on the defending Champion. Brian is in the driver seat now and looking for that regular season title and 25 point lead to take into the CHASE.
Justin was strong all day, scoring stage points and looked to be heading to victory to end his losing streak. In the closing laps Zilisch fell off a few spots which let the win slip away for Justin. The losing streak grows to 34 races, 2 weeks away from an entire year. On the bright side, Justin scored 38 points and gained 8 points on the CHASE cut line. Justin is now only 14 points on the outside looking in as he sets his sights on Tyson, Josh & Jim up ahead. This is Justin's 2nd runner up of the year and hopefully getting closer to getting a win this season.
Josh scored his 1st podium since Texas at Sonoma on Sunday. Josh & Justin, teammates have always been the best at road courses over the years and they showed some strength today. They are both on the outside of the CHASE line but they both gained ground today. With Josh's 3rd place finish he passed Tyson in the standings for 9th and is now only 1 point behind Jim for the final CHASE position. We are heading to a track that Josh won back to back races at before it was removed from the schedule. Could Josh be looking at his 1st victory of the year at a crucial time of the year?
We are heading to Chicagoland for the 1st time since 2019. Josh won the last 2 races there back in 2018 and 2019 and will be going for 3 in a row. This will be the 1st race at this track for Jim, Tyson, Lizzy, Maigan and the 2 rookies. Josh has the most wins at this track with 4 all time.
Brady continues to knock off the stage wins, scoring his 7th of the year at the halfway point of the year. The record for the most in a season is 19 by Josh back in 2019.
Sean's 450th Career Race didn't go great, scoring a 7th place finish.
The battle for the final CHASE spot is going to continue to build up the closer we get. We are down to 8 races left before the CHASE and the final spot is currently held by 1 point by Jim over Josh.
The Top 4 in the standings went from being within a 12 point cage to now 35 points between them. Can next week close the battle up again?
Stephanie is on a downward spiral the last few weeks with finishes of 9th, 10th and 11th during the last 4 races. 5 weeks ago she was 5th place, 43 points behind and now she is 7th place, 75 back. She seemed to take a big risk at Sonoma not picking SVG and it back fired. While she is still in the CHASE Top 8, she is falling closer to that cut line with Jim & Josh on her heels.
2nd Career Win
Brady's magical rookie season continues. Brady continues to impress with his series high 9th podium finish of the year and his 2nd victory of his young rookie season. Brady is also the only person to score a perfect score this year and it's the 2nd time he has done it winning both stages and the race. This was a chaotic race with a lot of the favorites in crashes and in the closing laps Reddick had a flat tire which took the win from Patrick and handed it to Brady. With the victory at Coronado Naval Base, Brady is our new points leader for the 2nd time this season. Brady holds a 5 point lead over Brian as we head to Sonoma for some more left and right turns in California. Are we looking at the possibility of our 1st rookie Champion since Jim in 2020?
Maigan scores her 3rd runner up finish of the season finishing 4 points behind Brady. As far as podium finishes go she is the closest to Brady with 7. This was a much needed rebound race for Maigan after finishes of 8th and 9th the last two weeks. Maigan has 10 career wins but has still never been able to visit victory lane at a road course or street course. Can she change that stat next week in Sonoma? Maigan is 6th in points leaving San Diego, 14 points above the CHASE cut line with 9 to go.
Brian finished 3rd at Coronado Naval Base and made a move past his teammate Lizzy in the points to move into 2nd place. We have an amazing battle in the points right now and every position is going to matter so much as we head into the CHASE but especially who finishes 1st at the end of the regular season. Right now Brady, Brian, Lizzy and Sean are all within 12 points of each other. That means any one of them could jump to the points lead in a single race. The pressure continues to build as we are now 9 races away from the regular season finish.
When is winning a single race too little too late for Justin? Now 23 points outside of the CHASE and the losing streak grows to 33 races. At this point a win would only put Justin near the cut line but he needs multiple wins to make a run at a Championship.
Freedom Motorsports won the team battle at San Diego. They have moved into 3rd place in the team standings.
Brady now has 6 stage wins this year, a series high.
Sean will make his 450th Career Start At Sonoma. Congrats to him on this accomplishment.
Josh leads Sonoma with the most wins with 5, his last win coming in 2019 at the track.
Jim, Tyson & Josh are currently in the battle for the final CHASE position and they are separated by only 6 points.
It took 16 races this year but Jim is finally a winner in 2026. It looked like Sean was going to pull off the win with Bell stretching fuel but he ran out of gas and Sean would fall from 1st to last and hand the win over to Jim who battled it out with Lizzy to the line for his 2nd win in the Pocono mountains. His last Pocono win came in his rookie season back in 2020. Jim has been below the cut line since the Duel Races at Daytona and had held last place in the points for months. Now the win moves him up 3 spots into the current CHASE field in 8th place. This could be the turnaround moment for Jim's season as he looks to get back into the Championship hunt. Now we head to an unknown in San Diego for a street course type race that no one knows what to expect.
Lizzy has 2 wins this year but she also now has three 2nd place finishes. If those three finishes turned into wins she would be dominating the series. Unfortunately she came up 4 points short of a victory Sunday but the good news is she has recaptured the points lead from Sean. She will head into San Diego with a 1 point lead over Sean. This is her 2nd time as the points leader this season, last time she led for 43 days straight. Can Lizzy continue the momentum and try to grow her points lead next week over her top contenders Sean & Brian.
Brady continues to score podiums and make the website front page. With his 3rd place finish Sunday, he now has 8 Top 3 finishes this year. If he had not missed some races this year he would probably be right up top with Lizzy. No one else has more than 6 podium finishes this year. Brady entered Pocono 5th place in points 32 behind the leader and now he has cut the lead to 24 and moved into 4th place in the standings. How will Brady fare next week in his 1st street course race?
Justin's losing streak grows to 32 races, 4 away from an entire year. The good news is Justin has 1 street course win on his resume.
Justin, Jim & Tyson are the 3 who have won a street course.
San Diego will probably be a 1 time event so whoever wins it will go down in history. This race is likely not to return next year.
Josh scored his 2nd stage win of the year while Patrick scored his 5th. That was the only good thing for their team today as they ended up last place in the team battle.
We are down to 10 races left until the CHASE and the fight for the final 8th spot is going to be wild. The pressure is growing more every week. Right now it is Josh, Tyson, & Justin on the outside trying to fight back in. It will probably all come down to the wire at race #26 but the more important battle is up top as the points leader at the end of the regular season will have a huge advantage entering the CHASE.
103rd Career Win
Patrick survived a chaotic race and came out on top by a large margin. In the end no one was close to Patrick as he scored a 26 point victory over Sean. This was Patrick's 5th Win At Michigan but his first since 2019. Patrick was ready to hang it up earlier this year and just 5 races ago he was last place in the standings. He ended his 36 race losing streak at Texas and now with his 2nd win of the year he is only 1 win away from joining the battle for the points lead. Patrick headed into Michigan 7th place 52 behind and now he has jumped up to 4th place only 32 behind the points leader Sean. Its definitely looking like Sean is going to be one of the favorites this year and Patrick just showed he can take him on. Next up we head to Pocono for the tricky triangle.
Sean continues to show consistency week in and week out and his points lead is staying intact. He didn't win the race today but he won the battle against his two closest competitors in Brian and Lizzy. When we arrive at Pocono Sean will have led the points for 22 days straight. He holds an 8 point lead over Brian & Lizzy as we head to Pocono. He also helped carry his team to the team win this week with himself and teammate Brady both finishing on the podium. They now trail the leaders in the team standings by 7 points. The bad news for Sean is he has never won at Pocono before. He is 0 for 21. Can he change the history books?
Brady finished 3rd on Sunday behind the winner Patrick and his teammate Sean. This is Brady's 7th Podium finish out of 15 races. That means he has nearly been on the podium for half of the races this year. This rookie year continues to be impressive minus his few mistakes. Can he keep it clean the rest of the year and bring himself back towards the top of the standings. Leaving Michigan he is 5th place in the standings 32 points out of the lead.
Justin's horrible season continues with a 10th place finish. His losing streak grows to 31 races.
There are now only 11 races left until the CHASE and three past Champions are still searching for that 1st win of the year. (Josh, Justin, Jim)
Brian & Maigan both scored their 2nd stage wins of the season at Michigan.
Patrick is closing in on Justin for 3rd Place All Time Wins. Justin is at 108 and Patrick just hit 103.
If anyone is happy to see Pocono it has to be Josh with 12 Career Wins at the tricky triangle. He also won 4 straight from 2021-2024. Justin won last year.
13th Career Win
Lizzy wasn't a top contender most of the night Sunday but with the Hamlin win and a little luck on her side with Larson suffering a flat tire with 2 to go Lizzy pulled out her 2nd win of the year and her 1st since the Daytona 500. Despite not winning since the beginning of the year she has stayed right in contention with the leaders and this win brings her right back into the battle for the points lead with Sean & Brian. She becomes the 1st to ever win multiple races at Nashville. Lizzy heads to Michigan 5 points behind Sean. Can she hunt him down and reclaim her lead she had back in March.
Maigan was very close to a victory Sunday but the 10 point bonus for Lizzy picking the winner ended up being the difference. She lost the race by 8 points. This is Maigan's 6th time on the podium this year and that is tied for the series best with Brady who also has 6 podiums. Maigan gained 1 spot in the standings to 5th but she is currently tied with Stephanie for that position. Can Maigan find her way to victory lane for the 3rd time this year and score her 1st Michigan win?
Brian has now been out of the points lead for 2 weeks but he is trying to climb back to the top spot. He entered Nashville 8 behind Sean and although Lizzy passed him in the standings he gained 2 points on Sean and is now only 6 points behind heading to Michigan. Brian shares the lead all time wins at Michigan with 8 alongside Josh. Can he bring home his 9th Michigan victory and reclaim his throne?
Justin's losing streak grows to 30 races, heading to Michigan where a win is going to be needed soon to have any shot at making the CHASE and fighting for a Championship.
FJBLGB Racing won the team battle and the race and grew their lead in the team standings.
The ABJ season continues as Josh, Justin & Jim remain win-less after 14 races.
The last 3 Michigan races have been won by a female with Lizzy winning in 2025 and Kaylin winning in both 2024 and 2023. Will the women continue the trend with 4 in a row?
Sean scored his 5th stage win of the year which ties Stephanie for the series high.
We have 12 races left until the CHASE and the stress will slowly pick up each week now. Wins can cure all!
The 2013 Champion is having a rebirth of a season after struggling for his last few seasons. He has had two 10th place season finishes and one 7th place season finish in his last 3 seasons but this year he is a contender for a 2nd Championship after 13 races. He won his 2nd Coca Cola 600 Sunday night and his 4th victory at Charlotte. The entire race seemed to be a battle between Sean, Brian & Stephanie but late in the race Brian fell out and Patrick joined the battle for the victory. Sean ended up winning by 4 points after rain ended the race a little early. This is Sean's 50th Career Win. He holds 6th place on the All Time Wins list and is now only 7 wins behind Scott for 5th All Time. Sean now ties Brian with the series high 3 wins this year. Between the 2 of them, they have won nearly half of the races this season. Sean's victory was enough to move him to the top spot in the standings. Sean is leading the points for the 1st time this season. Last year he led the points for 23 days between March & April. Sean leads Brian by 8 points heading to Nashville and right now it is a 2 man race for the top spot.
Safe to say we are all in shock from losing Kyle Busch this past week. While some of us were fans in 2001 when Earnhardt died this one felt different. We have all watched Kyle grow up from racing at 16 to today and whether we hated him on Sunday or not we all respected him and can't imagine a NASCAR without him. He definitely started to become a fan favorite after moving to RCR and everyone was waiting for him to hit his stride again. Definitely gone too soon.
Patrick has one victory this year and one third place finish but Sunday in Charlotte he scored his 1st runner up of the year. A win was so close which could have really helped Patrick in the standings but he will have to look ahead to Nashville next week, a track he won the inaugural event at in 2021. Entering Charlotte, Patrick was 7th place 39 behind the leader but now he leaves Charlotte still 7th but 49 behind now as the Top 2 have but a gap on the field.
For most of the night it looked like Stephanie was going to win her 1st crown jewel race but in the last stage she fell back and would have to settle for 3rd. She won 1 stage on Sunday bringing her season total to 5 which is the series best. She entered the race 6th in points and although she lost some points to the leader, she was able to jump up 1 spot in the standings over Maigan to 5th place as we head to Nashville.
To celebrate and honor Kyle Busch everyone had a special 6th driver at Charlotte with victory points.
Justin's losing streak grows to 29 races. We are heading to Nashville next which is one of 6 active tracks that Justin has never won before.
Brady misses his 2nd race deadline of the year resulting in last place points. He fell from 7 behind the leader to 27 back heading to Nashville. His amazing season is slowly falling apart.
This is our 6th year coming to Nashville and we have had 5 different winners in the 1st 5 races.
Josh, Justin & Jim continue to search for their 1st wins of the year. They are also the 3 currently below the Chase cut line. Wins mean everything.
We are halfway through the regular season. 13 races down and 13 to go until the CHASE begins!
Stephanie kicked off her rookie season winning the exhibition race at Bowman Gray and even scored 1 points race win so far but now she is also an All-Star! Stephanie survived the chaos today and won by 7 points over Brian. She kept the ABB train going in this special non points event. While there is no points awarded for this, Stephanie adds $5 to her season purse and has momentum heading into the largest race of the year. Next week at Charlotte we have the Coca Cola 600 where there will be more points up for grabs than any other race during the entire season. With a 4 stage race, there are a total of 64 points on the line. Stephanie is only the 8th person to ever win the All-Star Race.
Thanks to our past Champions Daniel & Craig for joining us in this special event. Craig finished 7th and Daniel finished 12th.
Next week we get back to points racing where Brady continues his quest to catch Brian in the points lead. Can Lizzy or Sean join the Top 2 in the standings?
Patrick is the King of Charlotte with 7 wins all time and he also owns the most 600 wins with 5. Justin has won 2 of the last 6 points races at Charlotte.
Crown Jewel Event-Josh & Brian are tied with 15 crown jewel wins all time. Can one of them score their 16th crown jewel Memorial day weekend? Josh's last Coke 600 win came 10 years ago
In the closing laps with all the strategy and fuel saving, it was hard to tell who was going to pull off a win and it looked like 4 people had a shot in the final laps but Sean came out on top by a single point over Lizzy. This is Sean's 2nd Win at Watkins Glen with his last coming in 2014, a year after his NPRS Championship. This is also Sean's 2nd win of the year. We are only one third of the way through the year but this is looking like Sean's best year in a very long time. All of Sean's season finishes have been 7th or worse since 2021 when he finished 2nd overall. After his win today he jumped up 5 spots in the standings from 9th to 4th. He will only be 16 points out of the lead when we head to the Coke 600 in a couple of weeks. But next up is the All Star Race and Sean is the 2 time defending All-Star Race Winner. Can he make it 3 in a row? This time it's at Dover for the 1st time.
Believe it or not this was Lizzy's 1st podium finish in 8 races. Mrs. Consistency has fallen off as of late but she is still standing strong at 3rd place in the standings and will only be 13 points out of the lead when we get to the longest race of the year. Although she has been on a slight down slump, the good news is Brian & Brady have been struggling the same which is allowing others to catch the Top 3. Lizzy is one of many who will be searching for their 1st All Star Race Win next week at Dover.
Maigan was looking really good mid to late in the race but after some strategy calls and late drives she fell to 3rd overall behind Sean & Lizzy. Maigan was hoping for her 1st road course win but will have to wait a few more weeks to try again at Sonoma. Although Maigan lost a spot in the standings today to fall to 4th she still gained ground on the lead. She entered Watkins Glen 32 behind and is now 27 behind heading into All Star Week. Maigan also scored her 15th career stage win today and 1st of the season.
Brian's points lead grows from 5 to 7 over Brady and he will hold the lead at least until memorial day weekend as next week is a non points event.
Justin's winless streak grows to 28 races.
The battle for the CHASE cut line is insane.
Stephanie +5
Patrick +1
Tyson +1
Josh -1
Justin -6
Brian is the King Of The All Star Race With 8 Wins. Closest to him is Scott & Patrick with 3.
Tyson, Lizzy & Maigan have never won an all star race before.
Freedom Motorsports won the team battle this week and Part Time Garage moved to 2nd in the standings. Today was the 7th Race Win All Time for Part Time Garage.
102nd Career Win
4th Texas Win
Patrick is no longer walking the year long ghost as he snaps the 36 race win-less streak at Texas. Patrick won in dominating fashion while avoiding chaos and disaster that struck everyone else. This win changes Patrick's entire season as he moves from last in points up to 6th and only now a few points out of the Top 4 in the standings as we race towards the summer stretch. Patrick also scored a stage win and additional points in the other stage bringing his week total to 59 points, 2 points shy of a perfect weekend. The 2024 Champion is back in the hunt and no more losing streak weighing on his shoulders
Brady continues to have a very impressive rookie season and scored another 2nd place finish. If he would have turned his runner up finishes into win he would be looking at 4 wins this year. The consistency is working out for him in recent weeks since his mistake at Bristol. Brady has cut Brian's points lead down to 5 points. Can he bring the fight to Brian at a road course next week and try to recapture the points lead?
Josh finished on the podium for the 5th time this year, with 4 of those coming in the last 4 weeks. Josh is quietly climbing up the standings week to week. He is definitely a sleeper right now with 0 wins this year but at this moment a single win would bring him straight up to the Top 4 in points. He gained 1 more spot this week at Texas and is now 7th in points but the CHASE cut line is very tight right now. Josh is only 2 points above the cut line. Josh's Top 3 finish continues MAGA Motorsports recent momentum and their 3rd team win in the last 4 races. They have moved into 2nd place in the team standings as they try to chase down the 3 time team Champs FJBLGB Racing.
Sean was the biggest loser this week, finishing last place and dropping 3 spots to now on the outside of the cut line looking in.
Josh has the most road course wins all time with 12. Justin is close behind with 11. Will these 2 road course aces go head to head for their 1st win of the year? Justin has the most Watkins Glen wins with 6 to Josh's 4.
Jim only has 1 road course win on his resume which came at Watkins Glen last season and Maigan has yet to score a road course victory. Tyson & Lizzy have never won at the Glen before.
Patrick scored his 66th Career Stage Win, he is now 4 behind Justin for 4th place on the all time list.
Tyson scored his 37th Career Stage Win bringing him within 1 stage win of 6th place all time currently held by Sean.
Justin now has the longest losing streak at 27 races.
15 Races Until The CHASE
10th Career Win
3rd Talladega Win
Maigan continues to be dominant at drafting tracks. 5 of her 10 career victories have now come on drafting tracks at Talladega and Echo Park Speedway. This is her 3rd year in NPRS and her 3rd year winning a race at Talladega. Today was a close one at the end as she ended up beating Justin by 5 points thanks to the dark horse bonus points. She entered the race 59 behind in 9th place outside of the CHASE line and now she leaves Dega 5th place only 31 points back as we head to Texas. All of Maigan's wins have come on drafting tracks or speedways. Can she score her 1st short track or road course win this year? Maigan is now the 2nd person this year to score multiple race wins and 1 more win could bring her close to the points lead conversation.
Justin was so close to scoring his 1st win of the year and breaking a losing streak. Unfortunately he finished 2nd behind Maigan and the losing streak grows to 26 races. The good news is this was Justin's best finish of the year and a good points day. He also scored 2 stage points and helped his team win their 2nd team battle win in the last 3 weeks. MAGA Motorsports is trying to turn their season around. Justin entered this race 56 out of the lead and now leaves 46 behind but he did fall back below the CHASE line to 9th place after Maigan jumped up 4 spots.
Patrick also scored his 1st podium of the year and his best finish of the year as MAGA Motorsports teammates finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Patrick has had a rough year but there is still plenty of time to turn it around and this race was a step in the right direction. He gained 7 points on the points lead and is now 63 behind but only 21 out of the cut line. A single win could change everything and he will be looking to do that next week at Texas. He has 3 career wins at Texas, his last coming in 2020. The losing streak has now hit a year, Patrick is walking that year-long ghost. The good news is he still has 13 races until he would hit the all time record.
Josh continues to come so close to victories this year. The end of the race was really going his way but he did not need a Hocevar win. Also Preece wrecked coming to the line and lost a lot of spots. Josh is heading to one of his best tracks next week at Texas where he has 11 wins, his last one came in 2019.
Sean's Talladega curse continues as he is now 0 for 25.
CHASE Cut Line-Josh currently holds the final CHASE spot by 4 points over his teammate Justin. Jim ^& Patrick also on the outside looking in. Jim is the defending race winner at Texas from last season.
FJBLGB Racing continues to lead the team standings, currently they have a 4 point lead over Part Time Garage. MAGA Motorsports trails by 5 points.
Sean scored his 38th career stage win. He is 10 stage wins away from tying Scott 5th all time in stage wins and 9 race wins away from tying Scott for 5th in all time wins. Sean will tie Kaylin for next gen stage wins when he scores his next one.
Josh scored his 1st stage win of the year, 102nd All Time. 19 ahead of 2nd place Brian. In the next gen category he is 10 stage wins above 2nd place Justin.
Brian has a target on his back and almost everyone gained ground on him at Dega as he suffered his worst finish of the year with a 10th place result.
1st Career Win In 9th Career Race
Stephanie kicked off her rookie campaign with a win in the CLASH but that doesn't count as a race win. Now after a late race battle in Kansas she pulled off a race victory by 15 points over 2nd place Jim. She started the season off strong but in recent weeks has took a fall down the standings. This is the kickstart she needed to get back in the points battle. This win moves her up 4 positions from 8th to 4th and she will be only 7 points out of the Top 3 as we head to Talladega. We now have had our two different rookies win races in the 1st 9 races of the season. Congrats to Stephanie for becoming an NPRS Winner.
Being a single member team, she also won the team battle for her team Moore Odds Racing along with the 1st win ever for this team.
Jim hasn't had a great year and he has been under the CHASE cut line for some time now. Kansas was a good race for him in the past so he had a lot of hope for this weekend and even though he failed to win, a runner up finish is a nice change of pace. This is his best finish since Race #2 of the year at Atlanta. Jim did not move up any in the standings but he gained ground on those ahead of him. He is now only 1 point behind Maigan and 4 points behind Justin who currently holds the final spot in the CHASE field. Can Jim turn this good finish into a momentum swing for his 2026 season?
Brady had a very strong week at Kansas, scoring both stage wins to bring his season total to 4 which is tied for the most with the other rookie Stephanie. He also finished Top 3 and recovered nicely after missing the race deadline last week at Bristol. Brady moves 1 spot this week to the runner up spot 15 behind Brian. Both rookies off to an impressive start in the Top 4 in points as we hit the 25% mark on the season.
Patrick's losing streak grows to 35 races. Patrick will look forward to our anniversary race next week at Dega to break the streak.
Dark Horse Drivers will be updated this week before we arrive to Talladega based on the current points standings for the next 9 races before we will reset it once again.
Maigan was the biggest loser this week dropping 2 spots to 9th in the standings on the outside of the CHASE field.
Stephanie won the battle of the rookies this week but Brady is still winning the war in the battle for rookie of the year.
Talladega is our anniversary race where NPRS started way back in 2005. 757 Races & Counting
Josh has the most Talladega wins all time with 10. Maigan has won 1 race at Talladega in each of the last 2 seasons. Can she make it 3 Dega Wins in her 3rd season?
122nd Career Win
The defending Champion just took control with his 3rd win of the year. This means he has won nearly 40% of the races this year. He started out slow and the 1st couple wins helped him recover but now being already 3rd in the standings, this win stands out and moves him into the points lead for the 1st time in 2026. He won by 7 points over Sean in 2nd place and will leave Bristol with the largest points lead anyone has had this year so far at 17 points over his teammate Lizzy. Not only has Brian won 3 races out of the 1st 8 but his 3 wins have came in the last 6. Lizzy is still strong this year and Brady screwed up missing the deadline this week but Brian is on top right now and the target is back on him again like it was in 2025. This was Brian's 12th win at Bristol, only the 2nd time someone has scored 12 wins at a single track. No one has ever won 13 races at a track. Will Brian continue the momentum next week in Kansas as we move back to a mile and half track after 2 weeks of short tracks. Brian also scored his 1st stage win of the year at Bristol.
Sean was the only one to correctly pick the race winner this week and while that bonus helped him, it wasn't enough to pull off the race win. He finished 2nd but scored the 4th most points this week. Sean was still able to move up 1 spot in the standings to 4th, 13 points behind his teammate Brady for 3rd place. Brady stumbled this week by becoming the 1st one this year to miss the prediction deadline and scored last place points. The good news for Brady is he had a nice season going and only fell 2 spots in the standings. This week at Bristol was the most points Sean had scored since his win at Phoenix earlier this year.
Josh is on a huge momentum swing right now after a rough start to the year. He went back above the CHASE cut line a few weeks ago and now he continues to slowly climb his way up the standings. He gained 2 positions in the standings and is now 6th place as we head to Kansas. The only thing Josh is lacking this year is a victory and he has came very close and as long as he continues to finish Top 3, the win will come soon. In team news, this week was the 1st time all year that MAGA Motorsports won the team battle with finish positions of 3rd, 4th, and 5th. This team is on the struggle bus this year but trying to turn it around. Both of Josh's teammates Justin & Patrick are both still below the CHASE cut line after 8 races. Josh has his sights set on next week at Kansas where he has 8 wins all time which is double the amount that anyone else has. He has also won 3 straight fall races at Kansas.
Team Standings After Bristol
1st-FJBLGB Racing 29
2nd-Part Time Garage 26
3rd-MAGA Motorsports 22
4th-Freedom Motorsports 22
5th-Moore Odds Racing 21
After Kansas next week we will redo the dark horse driver list based on the current points standings. Up to race 9 we have been using last year's points.
Patrick's losing streak grows to 34 races, just a few weeks from hitting a full year.
Stephanie has 2 straight finishes of 10th or worse and has fallen to the CHASE bubble spot. Can she turn it back around and get her rookie season back on track?
6th to 9th in the standings is separated by only 6 points.
Jim finished 6th at Bristol but thanks to 5 stage points, he walked away with the 2nd most points scored this weekend. He moved from 14 behind the cut line to only 9 back now heading to Kansas.
Justin scores a much needed Top 5 after a horrible month of no Top 5 finishes and 2 last place finishes.
Talladega is just 2 weeks away and that could cause some chaos.
Brady has had a lot of good finishes this year including multiple runner up finishes and we knew the 1st win would come if he continued to be up front and the 1st victory came Sunday at Martinsville. It was a nail biter as it came down to a single point over both 2nd and 3rd place. Brady also scored his 1st career 2 stage wins and made the race a perfect race scoring the max 61 points. Not only does Brady score his 1st win as a rookie in his 7th race but he also takes the points lead after shooting up 5 spots in the standings. The momentum for Brady will have to cool off for a week as we have the 1st off week of the year. When we arrive at Bristol, Brady will head in with a 2 point lead over Lizzy as he tries to continue his great rookie season.
Besides her victory earlier this year Maigan hasn't had a great season but she started a turnaround last week with a 3rd place finish and she backs it up this week with a runner up finish. She moves up 1 spot in the standings to 6th, 32 behind the leader and 11 ahead of the CHASE cut line. The Top 6 in points are our 6 winners this year and Maigan has a 10 point gap ahead of her to catch the Top 5 which is Sean. Maigan won the fall race at Bristol.
Josh has been as close as you can be to a victory for multiple weeks now including a 3 way tie a few weeks ago and this week he lost by 1 point in a tie for 2nd which handed him a 3rd place finish. This is Josh's 3rd podium finish for the year and also 3 in a row as he has been hot recently after a slow start to the season. Josh currently holds the last spot in the CHASE by 7 points over his teammate Justin. Josh didn't score his 50th Short track win this week but he will have a shot again in 2 weeks at Bristol.
Time for the 1st off week of the year. Who needs a break? Stephanie and Sean were the biggest losers of the week falling 2 spots in the standings. Justin has not finished higher than 7th in the last 4 races including 2 last place finishes and a 10th this week. Justin is definitely on a downward spiral after a strong start in February. Jim & Patrick have both been outside of the CHASE since Week 2, they need a restart.
Freedom Motorsports won the team battle this week. Part Time Garage has moved up to 2nd in the team standings. The victory for Brady was the 6th career win for Part Time Garage in their 2nd season.
Patrick's losing streak is now at 33 races. Patrick has 4 career wins at Bristol, his last came in 2022.
Lizzy held the points lead for 43 straight days and now she has to fight to get it back. Can she recapture the #1 spot at Bristol from Brady?
What's at stake this year with the new CHASE system?
NASCAR says in their models, 80% of the time the Champion came from Top 3 in points when the CHASE started. No one outside the Top 6 ever went on to win the Championship.
How do we seed when the CHASE begins?
1st-2100
2nd-2075
3rd-2065
4th-2060
5th-2055
6th-2050
7th-2045
8th-2040
That means every race of the regular season matters more than it ever has and wins are more important than ever. Look at Brady at Martinsville, he gained 31 points on the points leader in a single race! You might make the CHASE at 8th place but you will start the CHASE 60 points behind and would have to win a ton of races in the last 10 to have a shot. It would take a Tony Stewart like CHASE when he won 5 of 10.
121st Career Win
7th Darlington Win
Brian is the first to score multiple wins in 2026 with his victory at Darlington. It was another close one and the win bonus ended up giving him enough for his 7th Darlington Win. This continues to be his track. The closest anyone has to his 7 wins is 4. This win moves him up 5 spots in the standings to 2nd place runner up to one of his teammates Lizzy. He will be 10 points behind her heading to Martinsville. After some rough races this year Brian shows that wins can fix everything for you this year as the points are more important than ever. Can Brian continue his momentum at Martinsville where he won the race last spring and has 5 total wins at the paperclip?
Last week Briscoe fell to drop Josh to a 3 way tie for the lead and this week Briscoe lost enough spots again on the last lap to make Josh fall to Brian for the race victory. Josh definitely has some strong momentum going with back to back podium finishes now and he has moved above the cut line for the CHASE for the 1st time since COTA. Technically he is tied with Justin for the final spot but Josh holds the tiebreaker with better season finishes. Josh is the King Of Martinsville with 10 wins but only has 1 win there since 2017. Josh is 38 back from the points lead after 6 races. If Josh wins Martinsville it will be his 50th Short Track Victory.
Maigan won at Atlanta a few weeks ago but has had two 10ths and one 6th since then. She needed a rebound and got it with a 3rd place finish. She was able to move up 1 spot in the standings from 8th to 7th and will be looking for her 1st Martinsville victory this week. She has 1 short track win in her short career.
FJBLGB Racing won the team battle and retook the points lead. Are they on their way to a 4th team championship in the 5 years this has existed?
Stephanie scores her 4th stage win of the year and Patrick scores his 3rd. They are leading the way in stage wins and those very valuable points.
Patrick's losing streak grows to 32 races as we head to Martinsville where he has 5 wins.
Where is Jim? The last 4 races he has finished 6th, 11th, 7th and 5th. The good news is he has 6 short track wins on his resume.
Lizzy continues to score points in stages and shows consistency which helps her maintain her points lead. When we arrive at Martinsville, she will have led the points for 43 straight days.
Brady & Tyson used up their free passes for the year. That means going forward if they miss the deadline they will finish last place that week.
Justin was the big loser this week falling 3 spots to 9th, outside of the CHASE.
17th Career Win
2nd Straight Vegas Win
Tyson won last fall in Vegas for the 1st time and he backed it up with his first win of 2026. This was a crazy battle to the finish that ended in a 3 way tie for the victory. Tyson came out on top over Brady & Josh. This win plus his already consistent season vaults Tyson up the standings 6 positions from 8th to 2nd. He now has a 14 point gap between himself and the points lead. Tyson has yet to have a breakout season, could 2026 change that? Tyson has 13 wins in the next gen era which brings him only 1 win away from tying Patrick for next gen wins for 5th place. This was Tyson's 8th Speedway victory which makes up about half of his career wins. Congrats to Tyson as we head to Darlington next week for what could be one of the wildest races of the year as the short track package and more horsepower goes to Darlington.
Brady was so close to continuing his streak of consecutive finishes increasing each week. After a 4th, 3rd and 2nd place he tied for the win here at Vegas but ultimately ends up 2nd place. This is back to back runner up finishes for Brady and a win will come soon if he keeps this momentum up. Brady's team Part Time Garage have taken over the lead in the team standings, currently tied with FJBLGB Racing for the top spot. Brady fell 1 spot in the standings to 4th but the gap to the lead decreased for him from 24 to 22 back heading to the lady in black.
Josh has definitely been off to a slow start so far this year but the last few weeks have him looking at light at the end of the tunnel. He scored his 1st Top 5 last week and this week he scored his 1st Top 3 finish. Josh was very close to scoring the victory but in the final laps Larson passed Briscoe to take 1 point from Josh which led to him falling to a 3 way tie for the win and after the tiebreakers, Josh wound up 3rd place. Josh is currently 4 points outside of the CHASE and has 4 career wins at Darlington.
Patrick's losing streak grows to 31 races. He scored the 6th most points at Vegas but needs a victory to kick start his season that is off to a rocky start, 50 points out of the lead after 5 races.
We have now had 5 different winners in the first 5 races of the year. Can we keep this going next week and get another new winner for 2026?
Brian was the biggest loser this week falling 3 spots in the standings to 7th. He is currently 8 points above the CHASE cut line.
Maigan has a victory this year but sadly she scored her third 10th place finish of the season and has fallen to the CHASE bubble spot. She has a 4 points gap over Josh. Can she turn it back around?
Stephanie scored her 2nd and 3rd stage win of her career this weekend. She now is tied with Craig for 13th place on the next gen stage win list.
Darlington next week will be the 150th Race Of The Next Gen Era.
Josh has the most wins in the next gen era with 25
Jim has the 2nd most with 17 and Justin and Brian each have 16.

30 Race Winless Drought Over For Sean
48th Career Win
1st Season Win
4th Phoenix Win (1st Since 2021)
The 30 race losing streak is over for Sean as he snaps it with his first victory of 2026 at Phoenix. This win a long with his 3rd place at Daytona makes him one of the most consistent this season outside of Lizzy and he moves himself up 6 positions in the standings to the runner up spot 11 points behind Lizzy. There are another 12 points back to 3rd place Brady in the standings. Sean hasn't missed a race through 4 races in 2026 and its paying off as he chases a 2nd Championship. This was the 5th race win all time for Part Time Garage.
This was Seans' 14th Short Track Victory
Brady is continually improving each week in his rookie season. The last 3 races he has pulled off finishes of 4th, 3rd and now 2nd at Phoenix. If the trend continues he will be pulling off that first win in Vegas next week. Brady was also part of the 1-2 Part Time Garage finish this week and that won them the team battle as well. They moved up to 2nd place in the team standings 3 points behind FJBLGB Racing. Brady moved up 3 spots in the standings this week and is now 3rd in points, 23 behind heading to Sin City.
Mrs. Consistency is back and better than ever in 2026 and the points standings shows it. Lizzy will have led the points for 29 straight days when we arrive to Vegas next week and she shows no signs of slowing down. While her lead did shrink from 14 to 11 this week her gap to 3rd on back increased once again. Stage points go a long way for her as she not only finished 3rd but she also racked up 5 stage points which is the equivalent to 5 positions. Lizzy is the clear favorite early on in 2026 for that 1st Championship.
Patrick's losing streak grows to 30 races. He really needs to turn his season around as he has 3 finishes of 8th or worse out of 4 races. The good news for him is he is the King Of Vegas with 9 wins all time there. 2nd place to him in wins is Josh with 6.
We have had 4 different winners in the 1st 4 races and those 4 represent 4 of the Top 5 spots in the standings. The only person in the Top 5 in points without a win is Brady in 3rd.
Justin was the biggest loser this week losing 3 spots in the standings after his last place finish. He only had his 1st driver as the winner and his next best driver finished 20th.
Josh scored his 1st Top 5 finish of the year with 5th place at Phoenix. He is currently 3 points outside of the CHASE field.
Jim scored his 35th stage win and Lizzy scored her 28th. Jim is 1 behind Tyson now and Lizzy is 5 stage wins away from tying Daniel.
120th Career Win
1st Season Win
2nd COTA Win
After a very slow start the first few weeks Brian scores a win and makes a huge move up in the standings to establish himself as a contender once again 3 races into the 2026 season. Wins cure all this season and Brian pulled off the victory by 18 points over his teammate Lizzy in 2nd place. This is Brian's 7th road course victory and he becomes the 1st person to win multiple races at COTA. Brian heads to Phoenix 3rd place in the standings 18 points behind his teammate Lizzy. FJBLGB Racing is off to a hot start again after both going to the Championship race last season.
Lizzy scored her 2nd Top 3 in the first 3 races of the season at COTA and it helped her build her points lead. Her lead was 11 heading into COTA and now that lead is back to 14 points again this time over her teammate Brian. The consistency and the Daytona 500 victory has Lizzy as the favorite early on. FJBLGB Racing won the team battle Sunday at COTA with all 3 members scoring Top 5 finishes. They currently hold a 4 point lead in the team standings over Moore Odds Racing & Part Time Garage.
The rookie has entered the chat. Brady scores his best finish of the season and his 1st Top 3 in his 3rd race. Brady has quietly been consistent since his bad finish in the Daytona 500. He scored a 4th place last week and followed that with a 3rd this week along with some stage points. Brady is currently 6th place in points and only 1 point behind the other rookie Stephanie for 5th place. Now we head to Phoenix as Brady continues to get the hang of NPRS and search for his 1st victory.
Patrick is the first to score the win bonus this year with Reddick chosen as the winner at COTA.
Justin scored his 70th Stage Win & Patrick scored his 64th Stage Win Sunday.
Josh is the only person yet to score a Top 5 finish this season. After 2 drafting tracks and 1 road course we start to go to normal tracks this week and Josh could turn his season around. Josh will be searching for his 50th Short Track Win Sunday at Phoenix. He holds more short track wins than anyone else.
Thanks to stage points, Justin & Brady scored the 2nd most points Sunday.
Sean's losing streak grows to 30 races. Patrick is now at 29.
Josh, Jim & Patrick currently the 3 on the outside looking in. A win could flip that for any of them.
Patrick & Josh lead the way with Phoenix wins all time with 7 each. Justin and Brian each have 6. Lizzy has never won at Phoenix before.
9th Career Win
2nd Atlanta Win
1st Season Win
After a slow start to the year, a win cures all for Maigan in her 3rd season. Maigan won pretty big Sunday by 17 points over 2nd place Jim. This victory helps elevate Maigan up 8 positions in the standings from 10th to 2nd. This is Maigan's 9th Career Win and 2nd at Atlanta. She is quickly becoming a favorite at drafting style tracks as this is her 4th drafting tracks win out of her total of 9 wins. She also has 4 wins at speedways and 1 short track win. That means she has yet to score a win on a road course or street course and next week is going to be her next chance as we head to COTA in Austin. Maigan will enter COTA 2nd in the points, 11 points behind our leader Lizzy. The girls are off to a strong start this year with back to back wins to kick off the season.
Congrats To Maigan on this early victory after a rough year in 2025, missing the playoffs
Jim definitely needed to leave Atlanta with something positive and he did that with a runner up finish. While he didn't move up any in the standings he did make up some ground. He entered the race 37 back from the leader and has cut that down to 32. Jim has 12 tracks he has never won at before and COTA is one of them. Jim has 1 road course victory on his resume and will look to up that next week as he looks to get back into the CHASE. He is currently 7 points outside the CHASE bubble after 2 races.
Tyson has always had no problem finding a way to win stages. In his 5 years he has now racked up 35 stage wins and is only 1 stage win away from tying Sean for 6th most all time. The only downside this week was Sean scored a stage win as well to maintain that gap. Tyson's 3rd place finish at Atlanta plus 4 stage points helped him score the 2nd most points of anyone this weekend. This helped Tyson climb 2 spots in the standings from 7th to 5th. Tyson looks forward to some road course racing next week as he already has 3 road course race wins and 1 Street course win in his short career.
Lizzy maintains points lead although her lead did shrink from 14 to 11.
Justin & Stephanie both fell 1 spot in the standings after a great kickoff to the season. They need to get wins to join Lizzy & Maigan for the points lead battle.
The win bonus has yet to be scored this year. Last week at Daytona no one even had the race winner on their lineup and this week at Atlanta only 3 people had picked Reddick. That helped those three people finish 1, 2 and 3.
Freedom Motorsports won their 35th race all time and they were able to pull out the team battle win this week. Despite that team win by them this week and Moore Odds Racing last week, the new leaders in the team standings is FJBLGB Racing, the defending team Champs are back on top.
With 2 races down and 24 to go: Jim, Patrick, and Brian are the 3 currently on the outside of the CHASE looking in.
This will be our 6th race at COTA and we have had 5 different winners in the 1st 5 years.
Sean currently has the longest losing streak at 29 races. Patrick is at 28 races without a win.
12th Career Win
1st Daytona Win
1st Season Win
Lizzy came up short last year as the runner up for the Championship but she has been getting better each year and aiming for a title in 2026. She starts the season off with a huge win at Daytona by winning a photo finish against rookie Stephanie. They tied in points and the tie was broken by the 3rd driver. This is Lizzy's 1st ever win at Daytona and her 2nd Crown Jewel race win. This is also Lizzy's 1st time winning a drafting track. This year is old school in a way because the entire season counts and wins mean more than ever before. There are no more playoff points or advantages with stage wins but the advantage to counter that is race victories which scores you 55 points. When we get to race #26 you will likely need to be in the Top 3 or 4 spots in the CHASE to have a legitimate shot at the title. The CHASE is on and Lizzy is on top heading to Atlanta (Echo Park Speedway)
Congrats to Lizzy on her big win
Stephanie came out on top of her 1st event in the Clash at Bowman Gray and she almost won her 1st regular race as well losing to a tiebreaker for the Daytona 500. This rookie is off to a great start despite finishing 2nd. She also finished 2nd in one of the Duel Races and is currently 3rd place in points only 1 point behind Justin for 2nd. Will her momentum carry on to the next drafting track at Atlanta next week?
Stephanie also led her team to the team battle win at Daytona scoring the most points with the best average finish for her single person team. Moore Odds Racing leads the team standings after 1 of 36.
Sean still has yet to break through and win a Daytona 500 after his 12th attempt. Sean finished 3rd Sunday evening. He has a good history at Daytona but it just hasn't happened in the 500. A 3rd place here and a 2nd place in one of the Duel Races gives Sean a pretty solid start to 2026. He currently sits 4th in points 6 points back of the Top 3 heading to Atlanta.
It's early but the 3 people currently on the outside of the CHASE bubble are Jim, Maigan and defending Champion Brian.
Brian leads Echo Park Speedway with the most wins at 7 and since the reconfiguration in 2022 to a drafting style track we have had 8 different winners in 8 races.
Brian won the February race last year at Echo Park and Josh won the fall race.
Besides the rookies, Lizzy is the only person who has never won a race before at Echo Park Speedway.
With another drafting track coming up it's still a lot of luck involved and survival is more important than ever. If those in the bottom of the standings have another bad race it will be a tough hole to climb out of.
When you go to the standings sheet this year there are tabs at the bottom that you can move from the standings to the schedule, see season finishes and check out the team results and standings.
When you go to the track stats sheet you can go to any track but also go to track type stats like drafting tracks vs short tracks ect. One of the 1st tabs is the active tracks that everyone has yet to win at.
The other rookie comes out on top of his 1st event of the 2026 season. Brady had drivers finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd and pulled off the win by 2 points over Sean. Lizzy rounded out the Top 3 finishers. After finishing 6th at the Clash, Brady took over the points lead after Duel #1 but had to wait and see how Duel #2 would go before being declared the points leader heading into Sunday. Brady will enter the Daytona 500 2nd in points behind his brother Justin.
Justin is off to a great start to the season with a runner up finish in the Clash and now a win in Duel #2. He won the 2nd Duel by 7 points over Stephanie in 2nd and Tyson rounded out the Top 3. With the consistent finishes and Duel victory Justin has captured the points lead heading into the Daytona 500 Sunday. So far the most points available has been 10 for a victory, now the big points come out at Daytona as the winner will score 55 points!!! This is Justin's 4th Duel Win All Time which is most of anyone.
We definitely won't forget this race for a long time and 1 of our 2 rookies this season came out on top. Stephanie pulled out the CLASH win by 4 points over Justin & Maigan who tied for 2nd. Justin won the tiebreaker by having the better 3rd driver. Then we had another tie for 4th place between Lizzy & Josh which went to Lizzy based on last year's points because they picked the same 5 drivers in the same exact order!
As we leave cold Winston Salem and move south to Florida for speedweek Stephanie is our points leader by 1 over Justin and 2 over Maigan. Our next event is the Duel Races next Thursday. Picks will be due on Wednesday at midnight. You will pick 5 drivers for each Duel Race for a total of 10 drivers. Only drivers who finish in the Top 10 in each race will score points.
CLASH Results
1st-Stephanie
2nd-Justin
3rd-Maigan
4th-Lizzy
5th-Josh
6th-Brady
7th-Sean
8th-Jim
9th-Brian
10th-Tyson

NPRS 2026 is Officially underway, will this win by Stephanie be beginners luck or could she be a true contender this season?
Click the photo below that says NPRS Standings to get to the season standings and rundown of the points
After such a dominating season last year, Brian still had to fight it out at Phoenix in the final Championship Race and still pulled it off but 2026 will be much different as the CHASE returns. It will be more important than ever to perform all season long in order to have a shot at the title in the final 10 races. The new 55 points for a race win is huge and you have to win races all season long to be the best.
We crunched the numbers and even though Brian was so dominant last year, he failed to win a single Race in the final 10 races and under the new format that would not be enough to win the title. So keep in mind this new system awards consistency and the points leaders all year will have the advantage but if you don't show up in the CHASE, you probably won't hold on.
This will be Brian's 22nd Season and he will be chasing his 5th Championship.
Lizzy made it to the Championship Race for the 1st time last year and came up short but she once again scored her highest season finish ever and there is only 1 more spot to move up from 2nd. Lizzy has been famous for consistency since joining NPRS in 2022. She has never finished worse than 4th overall and the new CHASE format may benefit her but she will still need to get wins like last season when she got 5 and most of those came in the playoffs. If last year's format was the CHASE, she would have been the Champion.
This is Lizzy's 5th Season as she is chasing her 1st Championship.
Jim had a rough stretch after his rookie Championship season in 2020. He finished 5th, 7th, 9th and 9th the 4 years after that. But 2025 was a rebound for Jim. Actually his rebound started at the end of 2024 with multiple wins in the final 10 races. He would score 4 wins at the end of 2024 and 5 wins in 2025 and came up a little short going to the Championship Race but finished 3rd overall.
Now with a fresh start and a new format, can Jim continue his success from 2025 in his 7th season in NPRS? Jim is the defending race winner of the CLASH last year as we head back to Bowman Gray very soon.
Josh Moore had a decent year last year and most people would love to finish 4th overall but honestly that is a down year for Josh who had finished Top 2 the previous 3 years. Josh hasn't finished outside the Top 4 since 2013, the last year the CHASE existed. The good news for Josh is he had a lot of great years during the CHASE from 2005-2013 winning 4 of his 8 titles during that span.
This will be Josh's 22nd Season and he continues to pad his records across the board. Now he will look to set new records in the new format this year. The GOAT will be chasing a 9th Championship in 2026.
Coming off his 1st Championship, Patrick had little luck trying to defend it in 2025. He only scored 1 win last season and finished 5th overall. This year will be a year to rebound and put a full season together. Patrick has finished Top 5 in the last 3 seasons and this year will be a great competition as we grow to 11 participants for the 1st time since 2023.
This is Patrick's 18th Season as he races to chase his 2nd title.
Justin had a great year last year to begin and was looking like a Championship contender but it all fell apart in the playoffs and he fell to 6th overall. This is the 3rd straight year he finished 6th and he wants to turn it around and get back up top and break is long drought without a title. No one has went longer without a Championship. Justin has't won a title in 16 years.
This is Justin's 22nd Season as he looks to chase title #2.
Can Sean show up for all 36 races this year? Last year Sean won 2 races early which would have been a playoff berth but he later missed 2 races which took his eligibility away. Depspite missing races and losing a lot of points he had a impressive run at times. Under the new format consistency will be king and if he scores a lot of last place finishes early in the year his chances of making the CHASE will fade.
This is Sean's 13th Season, could it be lucky #13? He is chasing his 2nd Championship.
Maigan shocked everyone in her rookie year and almost pulled a Jim but last year was not quite the same. She definitely suffered a sophomore slump and finished 8th overall. She was able to score 2 race wins in the final 10 races so momentum is definitely coming back for her.
Will her 3rd year be the turnaround to get back up top like her rookie year with 6 wins and 3rd overall?
Tyson has had some great areas during his 5 years where he has really showed up but his final season results do not show it. While one year he made it all the way to the 3rd round of the playoffs but his total season points brought him back to the bottom of the standings. He has yet to finish better than 8th overall and the last couple years have been even worse but he avoided last place last year by winning 2 races in the final 10.
Will his 6th season be the breakout year for Tyson and will the new format help him out?
We have a new contender in 2026 and her husband is the best that has ever done it. If she can take any tips or knowledge from him she may surprise everyone as a rookie. Stephanie is the 15th person to join NPRS and helps make 2026 one of the biggest seasons we have ever had (Tied with 2023). Stephanie will create her own single person team Moore Odds Racing for the 2026 season. Good luck to the rookie in 2026. We have our 1st rookie battle in many many years.
But wait there's more. We have another new contender in 2026 with Brady joining. Ironically the same season his dad Craig leaves NPRS he steps in to take his place. Brady becomes the 16th person to join NPRS and helps make this tied for the largest field we have ever had. Brady will join Sean on Part Time Garage and fill the spot that Craig left. Good luck to another rookie in 2026. Should be a good rookie of the year battle.
We lost a team last season with Jim being taken from Hit The Pace Car Motorsports but we have a new team joining in this year.
NASCAR announced the removal of playoffs and the new CHASE format so we will adapt that for NPRS.
Rules changes are added to the rule book and should make things much simpler without the playoff points ect.
Pretty straight up. If we have 10-11 people, 8 will make the CHASE
Then those 8 are seeded and the one with the most after the final 10 races will be the Champion.
With the regular season Champion no longer a thing we will shift that $15 bonus to the Champion at the end of the year.
