Drafting Track Master Maigan Pulls A Game 7 Moment To Jump Into The CHASE As #6 Seed

Maigan had a legit shot to point her way into the CHASE Saturday night at Daytona but in the end she needed to beat Josh and it came down to the 2 of them at the end which put her in a must win situation and she did just that. As they crossed the finish line under caution during the chaos it ended up being a margin of only 1 point that separated them and helped Maigan claim the victory and a spot in the 2026 CHASE. Maigan is an expert in picking at drafting tracks as this is her 6th drafting track win out of her 11 total wins. This is also her 1st ever win at Daytona which means she has now won a race at all 3 different drafting tracks. She also has 3 wins this year and all 3 of them have come on drafting tracks. 1st she won Echo Park then Talladega and now Daytona. Safe to say the drafting tracks helped her earn her way into the CHASE. She will enter the CHASE 6th place 50 points out of the lead and she has 1 drafting track in the final 10 but we all know it will take more than 1 win to capture the Championship.

Brady Is The Regular Season Champion & Rookie Of The Year

Brady has been the center of attention this year coming in as a rookie and performing very well but also missing races has been a huge topic of conversation. The rules may be changing next year but under the rules this year he still stayed on top and won the regular season title. He ended the regular season 6 points up on Jim. Brady is the 7th different person to win a regular season title since it started in 2017. Now Brady is about to find out what the post season is all about and see if he can continue his remarkable year over the next 10 against the best of the best. He has a nice 25 point cushion but we all know that can vanish very quickly. Brady also secured the rookie of the year award as Stephanie was not able to make the CHASE. Congrats to our rookie of the year Brady on his regular season title.

Jim's Hot Streak Helps Him Secure The #2 Seed As He Chases A 2nd Title

Jim took a while this year to get his season on track but once he did, he hasn't looked back. He has been on quite a roll the last month or so and worked his way all the way up to 2nd place after the checkered flag at Daytona Saturday night. Jim didn't have a great finish at Daytona but he beat his closest competitors in Brian & Brady. Jim holds the record of being the only rookie to ever win the Championship so he definitely has his sights set on Brady to make sure that record remains his only. Jim has the next 10 weeks to CHASE Brady down and win his 2nd Championship.

Brian Falls To #3 Seed But Still Ready To Defend His Title

The defending Champion is back in the CHASE ready to CHASE another title. Brian went back and fourth with Brady for the majority of the season but he fell off the last couple weeks and ended up falling to 3rd place by a single point to Jim. Brian will enter as the #3 seed 35 points back. We all know the Champion may very well be who wins the most races in the last 10 and Brian hasn't won a race in the last 9. Can he turn it around and get back to winning as he aims for back to back titles.

Lizzy Heads Into CHASE As #4 Seed Despite Being On A Slump The Last 3 Weeks

Lizzy has been on quite a slump recently with no finishes better than 7th during the last 3 races. She also has not won a race since Nashville but with her consistency she still claims the #4 seed and will start the CHASE 40 points behind. Can Lizzy get hot when it matters and put on a final 10 race performance like she did last year and fight for her 1st Championship?

Sean Has Had A Series Of Ups & Downs In 2026 But Makes CHASE As #5 Seed

At one point this season Sean looked like the favorite but he really took a slide during the summer months and ended up 5th place in the regular season. He almost stole the #4 spot from Lizzy but ended up 1 point short. Despite being in 5th and 45 points behind this is still one of the best years Sean has had since his Championship season. Can Sean stay focused with football season beginning and fight for his 1st title since 2013.

3 Wins This Year Helps Patrick Win Tiebreaker Over Justin To Claim #7 Seed

Patrick finishes the regular season in a tie with teammate Justin. Luckily for Patrick he had 3 wins compared to Justin's 1 which gives him the tiebreaker and makes him the #7 seed. Patrick won last week which helped his chances of making the CHASE and now we are here and Patrick begins 55 points behind. That is definitely a mountain to climb but nothing is impossible with the win points this year. Can the 2024 Champion make a run at another Championship?

Justin Makes The CHASE As #8 Seed & Has A Lot Of Work Ahead To Chase A Title

Justin made the CHASE after securing a stage win and 3rd place finish Saturday night. Justin was the only one who had the winning driver in his picks. This season has definitely not gone the way Justin thought it could have but he does make the CHASE as the final and #8 seed. He starts the CHASE 60 points behind and he will need a minimum of 3 wins over the next 10 to have any legit shot at the title. It has been 17 years since Justin's only Championship. This is Justin's 6th straight year of making the post season and 8th out of 10. Josh & Brian have made it in 9 out of 10.

In Other News:

What a battle in the end between Maigan & Josh but Josh will fail to make the CHASE. This will be the 1st time in the history of postseason playoffs/chase that Josh will not be involved in a 10 year span. Josh has 10 races left to chase wins and rack up money and try to secure the 9th place position. Josh ends up missing the CHASE by 12 points but in reality he lost it by 1 point losing the Daytona race by a single point.
Stephanie has had a great rookie year so far but will come up a little short on making the CHASE this year. She started the season really strong but hit a slump mid summer that cost her the shot at the CHASE and rookie of the year. Stephanie misses the CHASE by 19 points.
Brian has the most Darlington wins all time with 7 as well as the most Southern 500 wins with 5. This is a crown jewel race coming up next week.
Freedom Motorsports won the team battle for the 1st time in 8 weeks. They are still last place in the standings but have caught up to others.
